Three-year study.

Enrolment conditions

The undergraduate university study of Mechanical Engineering can be enrolled after attaining secondary school qualification in the four year period. Enrolment to the study will be conducted through the National Information System Applications for Higher Education Institutions (NISpVU), which is accessed through the website www.postani-student.hr. The number of enrolment places is limited by quotas regulated by the Ministry of Science, Education and Sport. During the classification enrolment procedure, general secondary school achievement including secondary school diploma as well as national final exam and the marks in mathematics and physics are evaluated.

Competence and qualifications

The undergraduate university study programme of Mechanical Engineering prepares the students for graduate university study programme of Mechanical Engineering and also brings them the opportunity for adequate employment. The study enables the student to apply fundamental and specialized knowledge from mechanical engineering, to recognize, formulate and solve practical problems, to apply acquired engineering, mathematical and computational knowledge, to use modern engineering devices, to understand the team work procedure and efficient communication, to understand ethics, ethical responsibility and the influence of the engineering solutions on society and environment. The graduate student of this study must be capable of getting involved into permanent education and professional development and possesses broad education (knowledge of non-engineering topics).
